Eligibility Criteria:

Emergency Officer (Medical):
MBBS with valid registration from PMDC or PMC
Age: 24–32 Years

Emergency Medical Technician (EMT):
Nursing or Paramedical Degree or Diploma (2nd Division) from recognized Board/Council/University
Age: 20–30 Years

Fire DERT Rescuer (FDR):
Diploma of Associate Engineering (Chemical / Electronics / Mining / Mechanical / Civil / Electrical / Telecommunication / Architecture) (2nd Division) from recognized institution
Age: 20–30 Years

Rescue Driver (LTV):
Secondary School Certificate (2nd Division) from recognized board
Valid LTV License required
Age: 20–30 Years

Field Worker (FW):
Secondary School Certificate (2nd Division) from recognized board
Basic electrical and cooking skills required
Age: 20–30 Years

Selection Procedure:

Applications are invited on temporary basis.
Apply online through Central Testing Service (CTS) website www.ctspak.com or via link available on ESD website www.rescue.gov.pk.
Last date to apply: 05-03-2026

Only completely filled applications fulfilling the criteria will be accepted.
Written, psychological and physical tests will be conducted at designated centers.
Final interview will be conducted at Emergency Services Headquarters, Thokar Niaz Baig, Lahore.
List of qualified candidates will be displayed on CTS & ESD websites after each stage.

Terms and Conditions:

Candidates with vision less than 6/6 (without glasses), color blindness, BMI 30 or above, Hepatitis B & C, HIV and RPR positive shall be shortlisted at any stage.
Preference will be given to candidates having height more than 5’6”. Minimum chest size required is 33 inches.
Local residents as per CNIC will be given preference.
5% quota for minorities and 15% quota for females reserved. Females can also apply.
No relaxation in age or qualification (Army/Civil). However, employees of Emergency Services Department shall be given 5 years age relaxation in upper age limit for administrative posts only.
Department may increase or decrease number of posts.
Salary will be paid as per Government Notification/Policy.
